About UsThe Deep Mining Research Consortium (DMRC), initiated in 2003, provides a forum for members to fund research to improve or develop new technologies for mining at depth. Coordinated by CAMIRO, the DMRC membership includes seven mining companies, the City of Greater Sudbury and CANMET-MMSL*. The DMRC gratefully acknowledges additional funding from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund, FedNor and Canada Economic Development.
